The registration fee cover your lodging for an arrival on Sunday, 21 October and a departure on Wednesday, 24 October. Additional nights at Chateau Lake Louise are $210 Canadian. and must be arranged between you and Chateau Lake Louise.  As part of the registration process, you will be asked if you would like Chateau Lake Louise to contact you regarding additional nights.

Similarly, if you will have a spouse and/or children attending, arrangements for them must be handled directly with Chateau Lake Louise.  They have a limited number of suites for accomodating families.  You also have the option of including any of your family members in the conference meal plans at the following prices:

Adults US$275 (covers all three days)
Children 13-18 US$275 (covers all three days)
Children 6-12 US$137.50 (covers all three days)
Children 5 and under complimentary

As with additional nights, you will be asked as part of the registration process if you would like Chateau Lake Louise to contact you regarding accomodations for families.

Be sure to mention SOSP'01 to get the conference rates for the additional nights for the Saturday before and the Wednesday night after.

Please note that you can't join ACM via the SOSP registration process. Please contact ACM via their web page to do so.
If you are going to share a room (and thereby avoid paying the single room upgrade), you may have already decided with which other conference attendee you will be rooming. If so, then please let us know who that person is. If not, then we will pair you up with someone of the same sex. (If you have any roommate constraints you wish us to know about, please let us know in the appropriate space in the registration form).

If you register as a student, then please bring with you to the conference a student identification card or some other document that verifies that you are a full-time student.

If you have applied for a student scholarship, then hold off registering until you learn whether it has been awarded to you or not. You'll find out by September 10, and if you are not awarded one you will have until September 16 to register at the lower early rate.

Note that registration closes before the conference date! If you register later (perhaps by showing up at the conference) we will not guarantee that you can register. If there is space, then we will charge you the fees in the right column.

You can register either using the on-line form or by filling out a hard-copy form and mailing it to:

  Professor Geoff Voelker
